In collaboration with Bryan Adams, based on his upcoming book Sell The Truth

Candidates judge the manager and the team they would actually join, not just the company name, and they form that view online before the first interview. This course helps hiring managers show up honestly, both in their digital presence and in the room, so the right people lean in and the wrong fits opt out early. Learners build a credible team reputation, carry truth into interviews without it feeling like marketing, and represent the real role clearly enough that the right candidate self-selects in.

Learning Goals:

Own your reputation contribution as a hiring manager. Recognise the moments where candidates form a view of you and your team, and stop leaving that impression to chance.

Stop defaulting to the expectations layer. Move beyond listing duties in interviews and operate in reputation at the pre-interview signal, the interview, and the offer conversation.

Carry truth into the interview without selling. Build candidate trust by being straight about the real role, including the hard parts, rather than pitching an idealised version.

Represent the real job so the right person self-selects in. Describe the team and the work honestly enough that strong-fit candidates lean in and poor fits opt out before they cost anyone time.
